The short version
This notice explains what richyfarmer.uk – an independent information portal that covers Richyfarmer Casino and similar operators – does with your data when you visit. It has nothing to do with what happens once you leave this site and register on the operator's own platform; that relationship is covered by the operator's own privacy notice, not this one. We collect far less than most people assume, and none of it is sold on.
In short: we log basic technical data automatically, we store what you type into our contact form if you use it, and we never pass your details to Richyfarmer or any other operator we write about.
Data you hand over vs data we observe
Two categories cover almost everything we hold. The first is data you actively give us – your name and email address if you contact the editorial team. The second is data we observe passively as you browse: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring site, gathered through standard analytics cookies.

We use this to keep the site running properly, to understand which pages are useful, and to reply to whatever you've written in. Our lawful basis is a mix of legitimate interest (running and improving the site) and consent (analytics cookies, which you can decline).
Processors and transfers
We work with a small number of third-party processors – hosting providers and an analytics service, typically – to keep the portal online and to understand traffic. None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes, and we do not sell or rent information to advertisers or to any casino operator. Where a processor is based outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are put in place before any transfer happens.
Exercising your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to access what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict how it's used, receive a portable copy, or object to processing altogether. You can also withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time through your browser settings.

Retention
Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your query, then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate for a limited period and is not used to build a long-term profile of any individual visitor. We don't keep data indefinitely simply because storage is cheap.
Under-18s
This portal, and the gambling content it discusses, is intended strictly for adults aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and this site should not be accessed by minors. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact [email protected] and we'll remove it promptly.
Changes to this notice
We may update this policy from time to time as our tools or obligations change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date. This version was last updated on 6 August 2026.
